Story.
This reproduction of a 2020 painting by artist/designer Schessa Garbutt titled “I Wanted to Be the Sunlight on Your Skin” captures the ways we missed our loved ones during quarantine. Now, over a year later, the painting has become a constant companion in Schessa’s studio space, greeting them with positive energy each morning. They share this print with you in hopes that it’ll make you smile; it has been a constant reminder that healing is possible. It is a celebration of being able to spend time out in the sun with our loved ones once again.

This sunny, vibrating screenprint brings warmth and optimism to any space it occupies. It is a color study in vivacity.
